Why is the store called Staples?
Why isn’t it named Tape, Paper Clips, Pencils, or Pens?
They could have named it Rulers, Envelopes, Cards, or Boxes.
Would a different name affect anyone’s life?
Did they go to a store or a shop to get ideas about what to call their (new) enterprise?
Depending on the store they went to, it could have resulted in a very different name.
Would we care?
Would one of us ever look up and say, “Hmm, why didn’t they call it Staples?
